Rules for Life

1. Always take the money
2. Be sure he is really dead
3. Don't leave any weapons behind

My family... Good, wholesome american values.

I loved you for the trolley, but Mr. Rogers I'll miss you for everything you were.

I think falling out of love sometimes lands you in the best of friendships. And it's the most relieving feeling in the world.

I've been encouraged to blog, so maybe I'll see if I can summon up the enthusiasm.

I have a habit of being wayyy to wordy when I write. After all these years of BS-ing through english classes, trying to fit in as many words as possible for length, I never really learned to "Keep It Simple, Stupid". There hasn't been a lot that I've writen that I've been satisfied with, and even less than I have been proud of. I read other people's blogs and I wish I could write like that. The short, declarative sentances and witty paragraphs.
It's too bad that even if I was able to write, I would still be utterly devoid of anything interesting to say. I'm just not gifted with finding the funny little points of life, and I get entirely too much of current events as it is.
I suppose that this blog is just destined to remain a verbose sampling of self-centered ramblings.
At least I don't have to read it.

Eyes open- Dreams close. They dress- and leave themselves behind. Step out into the day- but try to escape the sun. Read books on being their own person- from inside one cubicle out of hundreds. Say ''I think''- yet spout only popular opinion. Take the same freeway witha thousand other cars- and call it a shortcut. Microwave dinner from a TV tray- in a dish it's a home cooked meal. They sit in bed and wonder why no one knows them for who they really are.
