Ok, so it looks like I might actually apply to UCs anyway. I want to try UC Davis... kinda. I wonder where else I should try? Suggestions guys? Remember I'm going for Anthropological Religion/Philosophy.

Oh, I decided the class I'm going to teach when/if I become a professor. It combines two of the most interesting things I know. ok, here goes: "An Anthropological Approach to Quantum Mechanics and its effect on Religion." It sounds really cool nd convoluted. well yeah. Suggest colleges. ok... um...

Oh yes, the BFC thanksgiving went really well. Truth or Dare? I may not have been entirely honest, but I'm still a little angry so I wasn't about to get into it right then and there. Notice, I didn't say I LIED. I said not ENTIRELY honest. So yeah.

What exactly happened to Justin after school today?? I was standing with Sameea and Fatima and SHAZIA since she was VISITING our humble school from BERKLEY. And suddenly Justin was gone. I was kinda late to go out and find my mother for a ride and I really didn't feel like walking out to the Spagetti Factory lot to see if she was there so I came back.
I eventually just made my way down to the library after visiting detention and such. It was fun. I hadn't really spent time at the library for quite a bit. I heard some children's stories I hadn't seen for awhile. mainly Madeline. ThenI got to *almost* finish a book I've been reading for forever. Let me tell you about that book. It's really cool and the main reason for this boring, chronological post.
It's called "Why Men don't listen, and Women can't read Maps" and it discusses the scientific (biological, physical, chemical, etc) differences between men and women that make them act a certian way and stuff. I discovered that I have biology against me in the mathmatical area. I found out that blondes are predisposed to have high fertility and poor mathmatical ability. Stuff like that. The book is so cool... but unfortunately I 'm almost done and I just got into the more serious chapters. It was weird. Suddenly it's all talking about sex! I was laughing and feeling weird reading it but it was both really interesting and really funny so I wasn't going to stop.
Did you know that at 20yrs old, the average yearly sex is 114(or 141... I don't remember)times!? I mean gracious...
Of course at age 65 they still "go at it" (as the book put it) about 61 times a year. Who wants to think about that!? blech.
Lalalalala... I think that's about it... That book has really taken a turn for the worse though. In an intriguing way.

Wow.... My mother just asked if my sister wanted a BB-gun for her birthday. Gracious. Those NRA wackos... Heehee.

I was up until 1:30 last night cleaning half my closet. I didn't finish either. I took out all the clothes and the boxes that were on the floor and vaccumed and scrubbed that half of the closet. Then I started hanging and organizing clothes and had just finished putting up all my skirts and dresses when I realized I needed more hangers and the rest of my clothes might not fit! I didn't know quite what to do. My mother and I went to Target, got more hangers, and I continued hoping desprately that everything would fit. It does, but it's a little difficult to maneuver to get things out of the back. Wasn't that exciting? I thought so. I was having so much fun I didn't even realize the time until I started yawning and looked at the clock. Late nights cleaning. haha. I still haven't finished that side of the closet, just the clothes.

I need to write my personal statement... Hum. I don't know.

I finally saw Harry Potter Friday night. I was going to write about it ages ago, but I didn’t. I really liked it. Some of it was quite overly dramatic, but I just love Harry Potter. It’s so cute. There was a very familiar sequence during the Train/Car race to Hogwarts when they’re in the flying Ford Anglica. They rolled around a hit the Whomping Willow. I think It makes a lot more sense if one has read the books. Or at least if one has seen the first movie. There were a few spots of bad acting to. But nevertheless, it was cool. The little Children are growing up! It’s odd to watch them growing. I feel intrusive or something. But yeah, whatever. There’s a corner of Old Monrovia that looks like Gotham. It’s interesting. That little alley by the Baked Potato place. I think that’s about it. Oh, I got a Greek Cookbook(another one) and it has a recipe for Greek Coffee, but not Greek Tea! Well!!

Eyes open- Dreams close. They dress- and leave themselves behind. Step out into the day- but try to escape the sun. Read books on being their own person- from inside one cubicle out of hundreds. Say ''I think''- yet spout only popular opinion. Take the same freeway witha thousand other cars- and call it a shortcut. Microwave dinner from a TV tray- in a dish it's a home cooked meal. They sit in bed and wonder why no one knows them for who they really are.
